LOOP – Your introduction to tax consultancy
The world of tax consulting is incredibly diverse! When starting your career, it is not always easy to say which topics you are particularly interested in. Would you like to get to know as much as possible first before deciding what you would like to do at TPA in the long term? Then simply start your career at TPA with a LOOP!
LOOP is the name of the trainee programme at TPA! It enables you to get to know different topics and areas full-time for 12 months. After this time, you will have narrowed down your professional interests to such an extent that you will know exactly in which area you would like to continue working at TPA.
During your LOOP traineeship, you will get to know three different areas of tax consulting at TPA over a period of four months each. In addition to our location in Vienna, you can also complete a loop at one of our other Austrian locations.
You are about to complete a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business or Law with a suitable specialisation such as accounting, taxation or financial law, or you have already successfully completed your studies. Initial job experience or internships in tax advisory are an additional plus. You are motivated to start full-time with a LOOP and then to work permanently at TPA.

You will be a fully-fledged member of the team from the outset. - You will attend specially selected seminars and social skills training sessions, as well as accompanying career coaching units.
- There are regular trainee meetings to exchange ideas with each other and with experienced colleagues.
INTERNational Internship Programme

TPA has been participating in the international internship programme ‘INTERNational’ since 2022. Through this programme, we enable our young talents to spend 6-8 weeks abroad at one of our Baker Tilly network partner companies and at the same time we are happy to welcome a talent from the network. Our interns gain exciting intercultural experiences that go far beyond their day-to-day work – new countries, cities, food, people and languages – and get to know the city and their new colleagues away from the well-known tourist spots. They also have the opportunity to experience our Baker Tilly network live and to network internationally.
