Out of school. Into the world of development.
Have you successfully completed HAK or HBLA? Congratulations! Now the serious side of life begins, some say. We say: now an exciting stage of life begins – the time of fulfilment. You’ve probably already thought about what you want to do in the future – perhaps you want to spend some time abroad or start studying?
Perhaps you have decided that you would like to start your career and you are looking for a company that will not only enable you to take this step, but will also actively support you? At TPA you will have a wide range of tasks, you will benefit from teamwork, you will have the support of all team members – and yet you can work independently.
You will also quickly realise that working with numbers is anything but boring and is a lot of fun every day. And you can also count on us if you later want to train to become an accountant, for example. We will support your training and also cover the course costs.
Our group budget for joint activities also contributes to the enjoyment of our work, not to mention the annual Wuzzel championship, other great events and our extensive sports programme.
Students FAQ
TPA offers a wide range of entry opportunities for HAK and HBLA graduates:
First and foremost motivation! In addition, enjoyment of the work and team spirit! But relevant training is also important if you want to enjoy your job and be successful.
For most of the positions for which we hire school graduates, a HAK or HBLA-Matura is a requirement. Some commercial academies offer a specialisation in accounting or tax and management consultancy. Graduates with this specialisation have already acquired valuable knowledge that is relevant for working in an accounting firm. But even without a specific specialisation, you will have a broad knowledge thanks to your HAK/HBLA school leaving certificate – we look forward to receiving your application!
In your position, you will primarily work with Austrian clients. However, TPA is represented in eleven other countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe, so it may also be the case that you correspond in English. Good English language skills are therefore an advantage – your school knowledge is certainly sufficient for this. Any other foreign language is an asset, but not a requirement.
Grades give us a first impression of which subjects you found easier at school and which were more of a challenge. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses – to be successful in your career and enjoy your work, it is particularly important to build on your own strengths.
If you are applying for a position in accounting or payroll accounting, we place particular emphasis on your grades in accounting and are pleased if you have been successful in this subject. If you are interested in an assistant position, your grades in German or English are more important. To help us get as complete a picture as possible, we ask that you send us not only your Matura certificate but also your 5th grade certificate. We are aware that Matura grades can be influenced by factors such as nervousness or the state of mind on the day – so a comparison with the year-end report card allows us to make a better assessment.
However, we do not just look at your grades. Your personality and motivation are just as important. Convince us in your letter of motivation – we look forward to meeting you in person!
Please apply online via our homepage. You will find all open positions under Jobs. If there are currently no positions advertised for HAK/HBLA graduates, please send us your speculative application. We are always looking for motivated young people who would like to take the plunge into professional life with us and look forward to getting to know you.
To give us as complete a picture of you as possible, please send us your full application documents. These should include the following:
- Covering letter: Please let us know why you are applying to us and what interests you about the advertised position.
- Tabular CV: Provide us with a clear overview of your education and training, and the additional knowledge and skills you have acquired. Please be sure to include your contact details (name, telephone number, email address).
- School reports and certificates: Please send us your school-leaving certificate including grades and your 5th grade leaving certificate.
